About Us
At Oasis, there is a place for you. We welcome you just as you are and are excited to meet you!
Our campus has a spacious parking lot, and our Hospitality team will be ready to welcome you and assist you in any way at the front doors. Our service begins at 10:00 am, but if you would like to come a few minutes early, we would love for you to try our Coffee Shop; the first one is on us.
We begin with live worship music, followed by a message. Service lasts about 60-80 minutes. Immediately after service, we invite you to connect with others in our spacious Foyer and try out the coffee shop if you haven’t gotten a chance yet.
What About My Children?
If you have Children, we have a self-serve Nursery for ages 0-2 years, with Service streaming on multiple TVs. We have a separate classroom for our Pre-Schoolers, ages 2-5, and a different classroom for our Elementary, grades 1st-5th. Your Children are always welcome in the main service as well.

Safety in our classrooms is a top priority, so all of our Children’s Ministry team members are background checked, and all of the children are checked in and out with the Planning Center Check-In system. Also, only Children’s Ministry team members and children are allowed in the Children’s hallway.
Our Story
In 1979, Don McCauley, Oasis Church’s founding pastor, and 30 others desired to begin a Spirit-filled church in Lakewood. They began meeting as a home Bible study group, and over time, they met in the chapel of New Tacoma Cemetary and John Dower School. In the fall of 1982, they held their groundbreaking ceremony at our present location, and their first services were in the new building in the fall of 1983.
