Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Peter & Linda
Merle is currently a Chaplain with the Puyallup Police Department, Regency Rehabilitation Center and Evergreen Rehabilitation Center and the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department. A police Chaplain serves the police by working with people in various stages of crisis and also serves as a resource for police officers and their families. As a hospital Chaplain, Merle is an integral part of the health care team, making daily rounds and is available 24 hours a day to provide pastoral care for patients, family and staff.
The Chaplain can offer objective crisis intervention and spiritual support. Working with those who are sick, recovering or dying can be very difficult… and very rewarding. Patients, family members and medical workers need someone to turn to for understanding and hope.
YWAM Denver was founded in 1984 by Peter and Linda Warren. Having worked for a number of years at the YWAM location in Los Angeles, CA, the Warrens were led to plant a training facility in the Denver area. YWAM Denver was created to be a 'Bridge To The Nations'!
“Our goal is to disciple and train radical Christians who want to reach the world with the good news of Jesus Christ. Over the past several years, we have seen God's faithfulness in many areas as we've experienced growth. We now run eleven training programs per year including Disciple Training Programs that graduate 300 students per year.”
