Elders
EJ Brown
Lead Pastor
Influencing those around him with Love, Grace, and Truth is the mantra EJ and his family live by. EJ desires to see bridges built between the Kingdom and the world around us. He is currently getting his Masters in Apologetics and Evangelism at Dallas Theological Seminary and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Exercise Sciences and Leadership with a Minor in Coaching from Kennesaw State University. EJ has been married to his wife Rachel for almost 10 years; they have a six-year-old son Apollos and a one-year-old daughter Imri, whom they adopted at birth.
Don Schenk
Vice President
Don and Richenda have been married for 38 years and have three adult children. Don and Richenda have served on several ministries: young adult leaders, and lead home groups. Richenda leads women's bible studies and women's special events. Richenda has been serving as a deacon for the last ten years. Don serves on the worship team running the soundboard. Don enjoys teaching Taekwondo and working on computers. Don and Richenda enjoy spending time with their four grandkids and going for walks. Don works in the IT field for a local company.
Don's favorite chapter of the bible is Romans 12.
Pat Downey
Secretary
Pat and his wife Jill, along with their son Jackson, have attended Oasis since 2005. Active in many ministries and programs, Oasis has been a great place to put down roots and grow. During the week, Pat supports contractors, builders, company representatives and architects around the Western US. Snow skiing since 1983, Pat was once racing down the ski slopes, but now volunteers with the National Ski Patrol at Crystal Mountain. Summer afternoons Pat and Jill can be found kayaking around the Sound. Knowing and trusting that we have hope in the middle of struggles, Phillipians 4:13 is an important verse to Pat.

Ben Swaggerty
Worship Pastor
Ben and his wife Shannon followed God's direction and moved from Colorado to Washington in early 2017. Ben has a heart for leading worship at Oasis, but he and his wife have been involved in many areas, including the coffee shop, video and online, and the children's ministry. They have one son, Egan, who was born in February of 2020. Ben and Shannon enjoy music, photography, baseball, and meeting new people!
Jackson Downey
Facilities Manager/Worship Coordinator

Jackson has grown up at Oasis Church from our children’s ministry to a staff member and has been attending Oasis since 2005. He works in the worship department as well as managing the facilities around campus. Jackson loves watching and playing soccer in his free time, as well as being involved on stage as a part of the worship team on Sundays.
Shannon Swaggerty
Children's Director
Shannon and her husband Ben followed God's direction and moved from Colorado to Washington in early 2017. They have been attending Oasis ever since. Shannon has been involved in many areas, including the coffee shop, youth, and children's ministries. Shannon and Ben have one son, Egan, born in February 2020. Shannon owns a photography business and enjoys caring for her growing plant collection, music, baseball, and meeting new people!
Gerri Moorhead
Book Keeper
Gerri has been at Oasis for the past 20 years. Married to Richard for almost 50 years and loves attending church with her children and grandchildren. In her spare time, Gerri enjoys reading and doing jigsaw and crossword puzzles. She considers it a privilege to work in the office of Oasis.
