Coffee Shop
Love people? Love Coffee? Great! We have a spot for you on our Coffee Team. You do not have to have any previous experience as a barista; just bring a smile and a heart to serve, and we will teach you everything else!
Time required, Sundays, 9:00 am - 11:30 am.
Hospitality
Our hospitality team is on the front lines of our Church. Bringing smiles, assistance, and joy, the hospitality team sets the tone for everyone’s experience. If you are great at making conversation or are even just willing to share a smile, shake a hand, and assist as people arrive at Church, our hospitality team is the team for you. We will train you in everything you need to know, and you will even get a shiny name badge.
Time required, Sundays 9:15 am - 11:30 am
Worship Team
Whether you have played an instrument for a few months or decades, have sung professionally, or just sing at home, if you have a heart to worship and lead others, we would love to have you on our worship team. We love having a multi-generational team where everyone grows in their talent, regardless of their skill level. Although we have many people from different musical backgrounds, we all have the same goal; to create an atmosphere of excellent worship, so our church can worship and connect with Jesus. If you are interested in joining our Worship Team or would like to check out a Thursday practice, please email Ben at ben@oasislakewood.com. We would love to have you.
Time Commitment, Thursdays, 6:00 pm-7:30 pm; Sundays, 8:00 am-11:30 am.
Children's Ministry
Here at Oasis, we value the next generation. We work diligently to create an atmosphere for our Children to learn about Jesus and sow seeds that we pray develop into a lifelong relationship with him. We are working hard at continually making our Children’s Ministry the best it can be to serve our Church Kids and their families. If you have a heart for the next generation and want more information about serving in our Children’s Ministry, please email our Children’s Director Shannon at shannon@oasislakewood.com, or fill out a connect card.
All Children’s Team members must complete a background check.
Time Commitment, Once a month on Sundays, 9:25 am - 11:15 am.
AVL Team
Our Audio and Visual Team is the heartbeat of our Sunday service. They make sure everything runs smoothly! They are the silent ninjas in the sound booth, running our graphics, videos, live stream, and live sound. If you are interested in audio and visual, and being on the stage isn’t your thing, the AVL team is for you! You do not need any experience; we will teach you everything. If you are curious but aren’t sure you want to commit, we have Thursday night practice every week, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm, that you are welcome to join. Communications Team
Our Communications team makes sure everything on our digital platforms runs smoothly. From our website, social media, our Church Center App, and anything on a screen throughout our campus, our communications team is hard at work. Whether you are interested in graphic design, reaching people through our social media, or Being in front of the camera or behind it, we would love to have you on our team.
